    The free employee flu shot clinic in 1218 State Gymnasium runs through Friday, Oct. 17. No appointment or registration is needed.

  • Option for new employees: Submit ID photo online

    New hires who complete their photo submission at least two business days before their onboarding appointment will be able to pick up their ISUCard at the Employment and Benefits Center after completing their Form I-9 process. Having a photo taken on campus remains an option.

    The university is expanding its voluntary benefits with three new insurance options. Employees can choose coverage for accidents, critical illness or hospital stays -- financial help with the unexpected costs when they need it most.

  • Parameters shared for Jan. 1 salary increases

    Salary increases of 1% to 3% are possible for faculty, P&S and contract staff and post docs with a satisfactory performance evaluation this fall. A higher increase is possible for extraordinary performance. The parameters give supervisors guide ropes for awarding salary increases that align with employees' performance evaluations.

  • Moderate increases proposed for employee health care premiums

    ISU Plan participants won't see any changes in their health care or dental care coverage in the 2026 plan year. Employee premiums for the HMO and PPO plans will go up, about 10% on average, while employee monthly dental premiums will shrink $10-$20, except for no change to the single employee premium for basic coverage.

  • Paid leave for new parents arrives July 1

    A new state law provides four weeks of paid leave for a parent who gives birth or adopts a child and one week of paid leave for a non-birthing parent. Eligibility mirrors that for leave under the federal Family and Medical Leave Act.
