The nomination window is open for the 2026 university honors and awards for faculty and staff -- about 30 different opportunities to recognize outstanding employees for their demonstrated commitment to the land-grant ideals of teaching, research, service and outreach.
Many of the nominations route through the academic colleges, and others allow for nominations from individuals. All are due to the office of the senior vice president and provost by Feb. 10, 2026. Programs, departments, colleges and other units set earlier deadlines for their own internal review.
Award decisions will be shared by May 1 and the awards presented during a university ceremony in September 2026.
General questions about the nomination submission process may be directed to Rachel Haynes, 294-6410, in the provost's office.
As part of a faculty development workshop series this fall, assistant provost for faculty success Tera Jordan will lead a virtual workshop, "Preparing Effective Award Nominations," on Tuesday, Oct. 14 (2-3 p.m., register) for faculty, staff and administrators.
Cheers for our 2025 recipients
