Sign of the season

Tree trimmer Mike Soole coordinates with his campus services crew mates Kevin Doyle, Conner Larrew and Andrew Miller Oct. 27 to string the lights on the central campus holiday tree east of Beardshear Hall. For the second year, the holiday tree features white lights, though the colored light set is stored in reserve.

Save the date: The tree will be lit for the first time this season during a 6 p.m. ceremony on Dec. 5 as part of WinterFest activities.
