Monica Sogard, Aug. 1
Sogard, an account clerk in the accounts receivable office, is retiring from the university on Aug. 1.
Thomas Bobik, June 30
Bobik, professor in biochemistry, biophysics and molecular biology, retired from the university on June 30. No public event is planned.
Joan Cunnick, June 30
Cunnick, professor of animal science, retired from Iowa State on June 30. No public event was held.
Susan Lamont, June 30
Lamont, a Charles F. Curtiss Distinguished Professor of Animal Science, retired from the university on June 30. A public reception will be held at a later date.
Brian Dangelser, July 2
Dangelser, an Engineer IV in the office of the university architect, is retiring July 3 after 21+ years of service to Iowa State and facilities planning and management. His reception was held July 2.
Dave Utrata, July 5
Utrata, a research scientist at the Center for Nondestructive Evaluation, is retiring from the university on July 5. A public event isn't planned.
Bob Tott, July 5
Tott, manager of postal and parcel services, is retiring from the university on July 5. No public event is planned.
Arts and events
The Feb. 12 carillon concert can be viewed live in Sukup Hall or online.
The keynote presentation will focus on work cultures that are more caring and human-centered. Registration closes Feb. 22.
