University Professor of horticulture Gail Nonnecke was one of three faculty to receive Iowa State's first Morrill Professor designation during the annual faculty and staff awards ceremony Oct. 2 in the Memorial Union Sun Room. The Morrill professorship recognizes excellence in teaching in undergraduate, graduate or extension and outreach programs. Other inaugural Morrill Professors are chemistry professor Thomas Greenbowe and Leo Timms, professor of animal science and of veterinary diagnostics and production animal medicine.
