Gary Van Loon, Nov. 30
Van Loon, a carpenter in the building structural services unit of facilities planning and management, is retiring Dec. 1 after 29+ years of service to Iowa State.
John Wagner, Nov. 30
Wagner, assistant director for academic advising in the mechanical engineering department, is retiring at the end of 2023 after 26 years of service to Iowa State. In addition to his student advising roles in ME, he served in the College of Design (nine years) and the former College of Family and Consumer Sciences (three years).
Diane Maxwell, Dec. 1
Maxwell, procurement and expense specialist on Team Sycamore, finance service delivery, is retiring Dec. 1 after 36 years of service to the university.
Nancy Sizemore, Dec. 1
Sizemore, a groundskeeper in campus services, is retiring Dec. 1 after 17 years of service to the university.
William Jenks, Nov. 30
Jenks, professor and former department chair in chemistry, is retiring.
Julia Sullivan, Dec. 1
Associate director of financial aid Julia Sullivan is retiring from the university.
