As part of new student orientation (happening across campus throughout June), incoming students played games in small groups on the Memorial Union lawn Monday afternoon to get to know each other and learn more about Iowa State. For example, this group batted around a beach ball covered in questions, and each student shared a response to at least one question with their group.
For students choosing an on-campus experience, first-year orientation is 1.5 days loaded with required and optional opportunities to begin their transition to college life, including registering for fall semester classes. Online orientation remains an option for those who are unable to travel to Ames this month.
