Game-based learning is fun and games, and that's OK

Larysa Nadolny, assistant professor in the School of Education, has transformed her Curriculum and Instruction 202 course from traditional lectures and labs to a game-based learning format. The result? Student attendance and participation has increased to 90 percent.
