HR overhaul gets more detailed, with role added to help hire staff

At a Nov. 13 town hall, the university's top human resources official gave a more detailed look at an evolving plan to shift HR work to specialists next year, including a new role to support staff searches and reduce the time it takes to fill open positions.

Phased approach proposed for service delivery changes

The team developing an implementation plan for improved service delivery  proposed a phased approach to move the work forward, which will help provide information sought by concerned employees.

Staffing review is a first step toward aligning finance, HR positions with likely service delivery models

The review applies to vacancies and reclassification requests for finance and human resources positions, whether in the colleges, central administration or other campus units.
