Yell Like Hell, an ISU Homecoming tradition and competition, held first-cut performances Monday evening on a breezy central campus -- and interrupted by a one-hour rain delay. Volunteer judges (seated, l-r) Jeremy Galvin, vice president and chief development officer, ISU Foundation; Becca Yowler, unit lead for arts and humanities, University Library; and Clay Thomas, assistant teaching professor of management and entrepreneurship, assess a performance by one of the 15 sorority/fraternity teams.
Eight of the 15 advanced to a second elimination round Wednesday evening, and the final teams will compete in the Yell Like Hell finals during the Homecoming pep rally Friday (6 p.m., Lot A4, outside the Alumni Center).
