Beginning Aug. 1, the Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center in the College of Veterinary Medicine offers a 15% discount to current Iowa State students, faculty and staff on veterinary services. The discount is available to:
Current university students, faculty and staff for animals they personally own
ADA-recognized service animals with appropriate documentation
Law enforcement, military and emergency response working dogs with supporting credentials
"This isn't just about offering a discount. It's about strengthening the hospital's connection to the broader Iowa State community and supporting those who make Iowa State a great place to learn, work and serve," said Dr. Chad Brown, executive director of the Lloyd center. "We're proud to serve the Iowa State community and look forward to welcoming more of our colleagues and students and their animals to the medical center."

The discount applies to all veterinary services at the time of a visit including exams, diagnostics, procedures and hospitalization. It applies to all units in the Lloyd Veterinary Medical Center: Hixson-Lied small animal hospital, large animal hospital, equine field services and farrier services.
The discount applies only when full payment is made at the time of service or discharge and can't be applied retroactively.
